1. Patriot Park

One of the best places to take your dog is Patriot Park, which is a beautiful spot in the heart of Pigeon Forge. This park is home to many exciting activities throughout the year, such as the Winterfest of Lights, 4th of July fireworks, and the Patriot Festival. Take your dog for a stroll along the walking trail at Patriot Park, which is just a half mile long and perfect for a quick workout. While exploring the trail, you will also be able to see flags from all 50 states and several memorials to the veterans of Pigeon Forge.

2. Gatlinburg Trail

Another top place to take your dog near our pet friendly Pigeon Forge cabins is the Gatlinburg Trail. You will find the trailhead for this pleasant hike on the southern end of Gatlinburg, just off of River Road. The Gatlinburg Trail is one of only two trails in Great Smoky Mountains National Park where visitors can walk dogs, and it travels for 1.9 miles to the Sugarlands Visitor Center. The scenic trail offers beautiful views of the West Prong of the Little Pigeon River and even crosses the river at one point via a pedestrian bridge. You can also see the foundations and chimneys of several old homesites along the trail!

3. PetSafe Unleashed Dog Park

The PetSafe Unleashed Dog Park is the perfect place to let your dog run to its heart’s content! This amazing facility in Sevierville is just a few miles north of Pigeon Forge and is designed to
give dogs a safe space to run and enjoy the outdoors! The park features separate unleashed play areas for large and small breeds, as well agility equipment, shaded benches, water, and a double fence entry. The PetSafe Unleashed Dog Park is located within the Sevierville City Park and is open from 8 am to 8 pm November through March and 8 am to 9 pm April through October.

4. Mynatt Park

While staying at our pet friendly Pigeon Forge cabins, take a drive down to Gatlinburg for a visit to Mynatt Park. This city-owned park is located just outside of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park and is the next best thing to taking your dog for an adventure in the Smokies. Mynatt Park is a gorgeous property with a creek and features several walking trails where you can take your pet for some exercise. The park also features picnic areas, playgrounds, a covered pavilion, tennis courts, and other recreational facilities!
