If you’re considering a vacation in Pigeon Forge, don’t hesitate to bring your toddler! Our Smoky Mountain city is filled with attractions and activities that your little one is sure to love. To help you make the most of your getaway, Heritage Cabin Rentals has put together a guide to all of the best things to do in Pigeon Forge for toddlers.

Interact with Animals

It’s no secret that toddlers love animals! Pigeon Forge is home to a number of great attractions that will let your kids get up close and personal with some friendly critters. Here are a few toddler friendly destinations with animals:

The Old Mill is a great place to see ducks and geese. These fowl frequent the Little Pigeon River and are accustomed to being fed by visitors. Special duck food is available at The Old Mill General Store for around $0.25.

If you’re looking for more exotic birds, be sure to visit Parrot Mountain and Gardens. This unique attraction is home to hundreds of beautiful parrots that will delight your little ones with their singing, dancing, and talking.

The horses who star in the Dolly Parton’s Stampede Dinner Show appear in front of the theater each day for visitors to meet. There is no charge for stopping by to see these incredible animals. We’ll have more information about the Dolly Parton’s Stampede show later in the blog.

**Kiddie Rides

**

If your little one is a daredevil in training, she will have a blast on all of the kiddie rides around town! The following attractions are great for toddlers:A steam engine at Dollywood in Pigeon Forge.

Visiting Dollywood is one of the very best things to do in Pigeon Forge for toddlers. This popular theme park has numerous rides for young children, including the Amazing Flying Elephants, Piggy Parade, and the Village Carousel. In addition to the toddler friendly rides, Dollywood also offers a fun steam engine tour of the park, kid shows at the Little Engine Playhouse, and plenty of great music for everyone to enjoy.

TopJump Trampoline Park has a specially designated area where toddlers can play on the trampolines without the risk of running into older kids.

Both The Track offers great kiddie rides. Many toddlers also enjoy the dazzling lights and fun sounds in the arcade, even if they aren’t old enough to play the games.
