New Attractions in the Smoky Mountains
1. Mountain Cut Distillery
Mountain Cut Distillery is located next to the Smoky Mountain Knifeworks in Sevierville and will have a wide range of spirits made right here in the Great Smoky Mountains. The distillery’s name itself speaks to the passion for providing high-quality spirits cut from the foothills of Tennessee.
2. Scooby-Doo! Mystery Putt
The Mountain Mile Mall in Pigeon Forge is adding a fun new attraction– Scooby-Doo! Mystery Putt! The 36-hole adventure will include two courses, the Coolsville Mine and Coolsville Cemetery, and there are also plans for a gem mine, candy shop, and clubhouse store.
3. Pigeon Forge Racing Coaster
Just before you leave Pigeon Forge to follow the route to Gatlinburg, you’ll find a hillside home to the newest mountain coaster in the Smokies. Pigeon Forge Racing Coaster is the first of its kind in the area since you’ll be able to actually race side by side on their 2-track coaster.
4. Truth Traveler
Truth Traveler is another creation by the Answers in Genesis team responsible for the Creation Museum and the Ark Encounter. This Pigeon Forge attraction, located across from The Island, will have a virtual reality element that takes you from Eden to Eternity, a state-of-the-art planetarium, and more.
