Thrilling Stunts and Competitions

While the new Dolly Parton dinner theater is full of romance, it also features plenty of exciting competition that your whole family is sure to love. When you visit the theater, you’ll either cheer on the Parton clan or the Owens family as they complete in the Great Smoky Mountain Family Contests.

The competitions between the Partons and the Owens were inspired by Dolly’s childhood. On Sundays, after church, her family and friends would gather for a big home cooked meal and some friendly contests, such as marbles, horseshoes, and foot races.

In Dolly Parton’s Smoky Mountain Adventures, the competitions are kicked up a notch to include some truly impressive stunts. With Cirque du Soleil-style aerial acrobatics, juggling, tumbling, climbing, back flips, and even more thrilling displays, the show’s talented performers will keep you on the edge of your seat.
