What to Expect
WildSide Adventure Park in Pigeon Forge sits on 900 acres of wilderness that feels like you’ve entered Great Smoky Mountains National Park, yet you’re only a few minutes from the bustling Parkway! You’ll actually be able to see views of Mt. LeConte from this quiet and secluded slice of paradise. The journey begins at BaseCamp, where you’ll park, check in, and load up with gear. Then, you’ll head to the WheelHouse where you can pick out a bike rental or UTV. After you’ve had your fill of thrills out on the trails, head back to BaseCamp and enjoy a cold drink and tacos from the Wheelie Good Taco Truck! The sweet chili chicken tacos, fiesta fries, and carne asada quesadilla are some of the delicious options on the menu!
What to Do
MegaZip: America’s Longest Zipline
If you’ve gone ziplining in Pigeon Forge, then you know just how incredible the experience can be, but you’re in for an even more spectacular experience on the area’s newest and longest zipline! The MegaZip at WildSide Pigeon Forge is a record-breaking 5,771 feet long with speeds reaching 55 mph. The 4 side-by-side lanes are 2,472 feet above the ground, with a 1,000-foot vertical descent on one continuous line.
UTV Off-Roading Trails
You won’t find a better place to go off-roading in the Smoky Mountains than WildSide in Pigeon Forge TN! You can choose from 3 vehicle models, and for 90 minutes, you’ll experience one thrill after another along the deep dirt trails surrounded by old-growth forest. Not up for driving? Book a seat in one of the guide cars and enjoy the ride! A few ground rules for WildSide UTV tours:
- Drivers must be 18 and have a driver’s license.
- Passengers must be at least 36 inches tall
- Plan to arrive 45 minutes prior to your scheduled tour time
Donwhill Mountain Biking
Whether you bring your own bike or use one of WildSide’s bike rentals, you’ll have a blast soaring down the mountain. And don’t worry– there are beginner-friendly trails and routes for the most experienced riders. Helmets are provided for every rider, and additional protection gear is also available, such as shin and elbow pads and chest guards. You’ll also definitely want to get a Shuttle Pass so you don’t have to pedal back up the mountain; after all, the best part about mountain biking is the downhill adrenaline rush! Here are a few additional details you should know about mountain biking:
- Riders must be 49 inches tall
- Kid’s bike rentals are available
- Riders must be 18 to rent a bike
- Riders under 18 must have an adult with them
- Both manual and e-bikes are available with custom adjustments
In addition to downhill mountain biking, riders can also take the adventure up a notch at the Jump Track, a course offering 3 amazing jump lines. You’ll be soaring higher than you thought possible! You can also test your skills on the Dual Slalom Course and enjoy practicing side-by-side.
