The grocery stores in Pigeon Forge are sure to have all of the ingredients you’ll need to whip up your famous sweet potato casserole or herbed stuffing.

Of course, vacationers who feel like taking the day off from cooking will also find a number of excellent restaurants that serve superb Thanksgiving feasts in Pigeon Forge. Both The Old Mill Restaurant and The Old Mill Pottery House Café & Grille will offer special Turkey Day meals until 8:30 p.m. Unfortunately, reservations are not accepted.

Having Fun

There is plenty of fun to be had over Thanksgiving weekend in Pigeon Forge! The Titanic Museum Attraction on the Parkway will mark the start of the holiday season with a free fireworks show at 7 p.m. on Thanksgiving evening. This impressive pyrotechnic display never fails to impress, and there will also be costumed characters on hand to greet young guests.

Dollywood will be open from the Wednesday before Thanksgiving through the Sunday after Thanksgiving. The theme park will be celebrating its annual Smoky Mountain Christmas Festival, which features thousands of holiday lights, special shows, and appearances from Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer and all of his friends.
