1. Lost Mine Mountain Coaster

The Lost Mine Mountain Coaster is the longest ride in the Smokies, at around 5,400 feet and over 9 minutes of fun! You’ll reach speeds of up to 30 mph, and some would say it’s best experienced at night with all of the amazing lights illuminating the area. Riders under 54 inches tall must ride with an adult; the minimum height requirement is 38 inches.

2. Goats on the Roof Coaster

Goats on the Roof is home to one of the best mountain coasters in Pigeon Forge! This unique attraction on Wears Valley Road is known for its goats, Jurassic Tymes mini golf, gem mine, and more, but you certainly don’t want to skip the mountain coaster ride. Kids' age and height requirements are 3 years old and 38 inches tall; those under 54 inches must ride with someone at least 16 years old.

3. Pigeon Forge Racing Coaster

The Pigeon Forge Racing Coaster is one of the most exciting new attractions in the Smoky Mountains, coming late spring 2025. It’s also the first of its kind in the US–a side-by-side racing coaster! The two lanes curve around the hillside for an exciting adventure you’ll want to do over and over!

4. Smoky Mountain Alpine Coaster

Also on Wears Valley Road in Pigeon Forge, the Smoky Mountain Alpine Coaster is another exciting place to take the kids. The track is over a mile long, and the twists and turns will impress all ages! To ride alone, you must be 56 inches tall; the minimum height requirement is 38 inches, and whoever controls the sled’s speed must be at least 16 years old.

5. Rocky Top Mountain Coaster

Another of the best mountain coasters in Pigeon Forge is the Rocky Top Mountain Coaster. There are multiple tunnels, 360-degree turns, 4 uplifts, and more unique features– the night ride is particularly memorable! Those who are 56 inches tall can ride alone, and kids must be at least 38 inches to ride with someone 16 or older.

6. Avalanche Snow Coaster

Outdoor tubing isn’t the only activity at Rowdy Bear! The mountain coaster at Rowdy Bear’s Smoky Mountain Snowpark is a 2-seater ride that is included in their unlimited ride wristband. Kids must be 51 inches tall to ride alone; those 40 to 50 inches tall must ride with an adult.

7. Wild Stallion Mountain Coaster
